There are several different types of coffee, including:

Arabica:

This is considered to be a higher quality coffee with a milder taste and less caffeine.


Robusta:

This type of coffee has a stronger flavor and more caffeine than Arabica.


Espresso:

A concentrated coffee made by forcing hot water through finely-ground coffee beans.


Cappuccino:

Espresso mixed with steamed milk and a layer of foam.


Latte:

Espresso mixed with steamed milk and a small amount of foam.


Americano:

Espresso mixed with hot water.


Cold brew:

Coffee made by steeping ground coffee in cold water for an extended period of time.


Pour-over:

A manual brewing method where hot water is poured over coffee grounds placed in a filter.


French press:

Coffee made by steeping ground coffee in hot water and then pressing the grounds out of the liquid.


Drip:

Coffee made by allowing hot water to drip through ground coffee beans, typically in a drip brew machine.
